An unusual standing male figure with a disproportional body characterized by long legs, short trunk and small round head. The The style of the figure is very difficult to locate. It may come from the Ngulu or Zigwa, or Nyamwezi where figures with this style and size are to be found.The expression of this head reminds some so-called Mwana Hiti sculptures.
Considered to be a male figure, this example would have been given an ancestor name of real or mythical being as for the Mwana Hiti figures. And they would be kept in special places in the hut, either on a special stool or in a little house.
