Description
The brass metal bell was crafted by the Benue and Chamba artisans and metalworkers of Nigeria. These bells were often used on the free-roaming cattle so herders could keep track of their animals by listening to the sound of the distant bells as the cattle grazed along vast plains. Although they are typically referred to as "cow bells," they are also used on a variety of animals, like goats.
