Care: Should neither crack nor break with normal use. Scratches or minor chips resulting from use may be sanded (fine paper), if necessary, and re-polished. Polish with regular wood oil or polish to maintain luster when used as a decoration and olive oil when used for food. Although microwave and dishwasher proof, the natural wood color fades over time with hot cycle dishwasher and detergents, and is better with cold-water hand wash and rinse that will extend life and luster. Apply olive oil to the spoons after rinsing.
