Foreward: This is a story of free enterprise only possible in America as told through the life of Walter Marden Ringer. KEEPING EVERLASTINGLY AT IT BRINGS SUCCESS is a motto of the N. W. Ayer Company of Philidelphia copyrighted in 1869 by N. W. Ayer. It was incredibly impressed on by Walter Marden Ringer's mind when, as a young man of 23, he waited for an appointment for 3 hours in Ayers reception room. Grateful acknowledgment is given to N. W.
