Fulani brass bell pendants were hand-cast using the lost wax technique of Nigeria. These bells were found among the Yoruba and Akan people and would be included in necklaces as pendants. They were often worn by both men and women as a form of personal ornamentation and to display social status. Typically these pendants were made from brass and brass alloys.
