Krobo Clay Copy Trade Beads Ghana 42 Inch
Description
These are clay copies of traditional Krobo beads from Ghana, inspired by the bead-making traditions of the Krobo people. While they closely resemble authentic Krobo glass beads, these examples are made using molded clay rather than recycled glass.
Traditional Krobo beads are typically created by crushing recycled glass into powder, then firing it in clay molds to form vibrant glass beads. In contrast, these clay versions replicate the look and feel of the originals but are crafted entirely from clay materials.
They are available in a range of colors and styles, echoing the bold, earthy aesthetic of authentic Krobo beadwork. These copies are often used for decorative purposes, design projects, or as an affordable alternative for beadwork and styling.
While not original glass Krobo beads, they still reflect the visual inspiration of this well-known West African bead tradition.
