The Mandinka or Mandingo make up the largest ethnic group in The Gambia. They are a West African ethnic group descended from the Mali Empire.
Hand-carved from a single block of hardwood, this traditional Mandinka stool features a curved seat and multiple sturdy legs. Smooth patina and subtle incised details show age and use. A functional piece of West African design, perfect as a seat, display stand, or accent table. It is solid and heavy!
