Pema Raka Ancient Quartz Carnelian Mixed Trade Beads
Description
This mixed strand contains Krobo, Bone, Pema Raka, Quartz, Carnelian, and Glass Beads.
This mixed strand is a striking example of the rich cultural and spiritual traditions of the Himalayan and Central Asian regions. Pema Raka beads, with their deep red to orange hues and occasional crystalline "eye" patterns, are highly valued in Tibetan culture for their protective and healing properties, often used in malas and amulets. Combined with naturally translucent quartz and vibrant carnelian beads—both historically prized across trade routes—this strand reflects the enduring significance of gemstone beads in spiritual practice and personal adornment. The varied shapes, colors, and textures showcase the skilled craftsmanship and cultural symbolism these materials have carried across generations and borders.
This strand is not intended to be a ready-to-wear necklace. Although the strand can be worn "as is," the string holding it together is not durable and may break with use. For this reason, we recommend that you restring the beads before wearing them.
