Asian Lampwork “Eye” Red and White Trade Beads
Description
Strung collection of individually hand-wound glass beads in a vivid translucent red, each decorated with contrasting white concentric rings and swirling applied-glass motifs. The beads display the charming irregularities characteristic of handmade lampwork, with variations in shape, size, and placement of the decoration.
The beads are pierced through the center and exhibit hand-worked construction and applied glass decoration. While their exact place of manufacture cannot be confirmed from the beads alone, their form and construction are consistent with Asian lampwork beads, possibly Chinese. They are offered as an attractive strand of decorative glass trade beads, with their bold red-and-white eye pattern creating a particularly striking appearance.
