Description
A small glass vase could be placed inside this hand-woven sisal vase to hold water and have flowers in it.
The Sisal Handwoven Basket is handwoven by the weavers of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland). This basket is woven from sisal fibers derived from the agave plant. Each basket is meticulously woven, resulting in a unique design that reflects the artisan's expertise and creativity. It is both a practical storage solution but also a decorative accent that adds authentic African style to any space.

From the collection of Margie and Phil Matter. Margie lived in South Africa, and later she and her husband Phil opened a gallery in Tucson. Everything in this collection was in their home for more than thirty years. Africa Direct recently bought the collection; at 95, Margie wants to share the things she has loved so much.
