Finely carved Yoruba-style female portrait bust from Nigeria. The figure is depicted with intricately carved neck adornments. Executed in a dense dark hardwood with a rich polished patina, the sculpture reflects the naturalistic portrait traditions associated with Yoruba courtly and commemorative carving. Mid-20th century.
